Beth Linkewich is on faculty at McMaster University , School of Rehabilitation Science in the Occupational Therapy Program. As the OT Northern Studies Stream Coordinator, her primary responsibilities focus on the development, coordination and implementation of the curriculum for students completing their academic term in Thunder Bay.
She has clinical experience primarily with adults and older adults and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings and in acute care. The majority of her work has been stroke.
She is actively involved in professional associations, particularly on the board of directors for the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.
Her current research interests include neurology (particularly stroke), cognition, perception, driving, rural health, older adults, and health/public administration.
Fun Fact
She is an avid outdoors person and fully takes advantage of living in the North. She enjoys sailing, skiing, rowing, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, and camping.
