On Wednesday June 19th 2019 the School of Rehabilitation Sciences & CanChild celebrated their 30th Anniversary.
Guest Speaker Dr. Barbara Gibson, PhD, PT provided a Keynote Address entitled "Regarding Dependence: Disability and the Logics of Rehabilitation" and speeches on the history of CanChild & the SRS were given by Dr. Mary Law (Co-Founder of CanChild and Professor Emeritus) and Dr. Patty Solomon (Professor, past Associate Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences and Director, School of Rehabilitation Science) at the Celebration Ceremony and Cake Cutting. The celebrations wrapped up with closing remarks by Dr. Paul O’Byrne (Dean and Vice-President, Faculty of Health Sciences) and an opportunity to catch up and network while enjoying some delicious refreshments.
