Luciana Macedo has received $5,000 from McMaster's International Initiatives Micro-Fund to join an international study based in Hong Kong.
The study, "Determining the prevalence and corresponding risk factors and prognostic indicators for musculoskeletal pain in healthcare and non-healthcare students", seeks to investigate the prevalence, risk factors and prognostic indicators for musculoskeletal pain in university students in order to prevent, identify and manage such injuries and decrease risk of chronic pain later in life.
Luciana's involvement adds Canada to a dynamic list of participating countries, including China, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Switzerland, India, Nigeria, Australia, and Brazil. Congrats Luciana!
