Student Enrolled in Other Canadian Physiotherapy Programs

Are you a student attending another PT Program at a Canadian University and looking for a placement in the McMaster catchment area?

As per the National Association for Clinical Education in Physiotherapy (NACEP) guidelines, please discuss the process for requesting an out-of-catchment placement with the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) or Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE) of your program.

Students Enrolled in International Physiotherapy Programs

Are you a student attending a PT Program outside of Canada and looking for a placement in Canada?

  • All of the Coordinators of Clinical Education in Canada have a process for international students to follow when requesting a placement within Canada.
  • Please see the 'National Association for Clinical Education in Physiotherapy' webpage for further requirements and information.
  • Please contact McMaster's DCE Sarah Wojkowski at wojkows@mcmaster.ca at least 6 months before the start of your placement to receive details of the requirements needed to request a placement in McMaster's catchment area. *At this time, we are not accepting International students*
